Qvest is a hefty German based fashion, style and music magazine that’s just turned international under the moniker Qvest Edition. I was initially sceptical when the editor contacted me a few months ago for some dubstep photos to illustrate a piece by Melissa Bradshaw, but upon meeting him and studying his titles for a good few hours am pleased to say that it’s mighty impressive. I’m somewhat honoured to have images included in a publication with so much emphasis on photography. Amongst the pages you’ll find new and classic work by the likes of Corinne Day, Wolfgang Tillmans, Jason Evans (blappo!) and William Eggleston to name but a few. If you’re quite simply ALL about dubstep, Mel’s very personal, wonderfully atmospheric account of the madness that was DMZ’s 1st birthday bash back in 2006 is most definitely worth the dough. Also check 032c magazine for a very amusing article with Skream and photos of his neighbourhood.
Qvest is available in all good book and magazine retailers.
